~ Bunny Family Farm ~
Starting with a thrifted Cozy Cottage from the Calico Critters line, I mapped out on paper the footprint of the house and the features I wanted to incorporate around it. Next step was to check the fabric stash for the right fabrics for each feature.
By adding layers and applicating the details together, we end up with a fabulous backdrop for imaginative play.
A thrift find, the tree trunk once came from a Barbie set, but all we found was the trunk. To make bushes, cut out cloud shapes and make lumpy pillows of dark and light leaf fabrics.
I thought, why not do something similar for the tree canopy?! And it worked pretty well. Furniture made of packing foam, a mini tote for loose veggies, and some vines up the open side of the house.
